  • Design consultancy for Morgan Vien

  • Collaborated with d.school designers and futures thinking experts to create tools and experiences for teaching and practicing futures thinking in the K-12, higher education and educational leadership landscapes.

  • Supported schooling systems at the State, District, and Principal Level to design performance assessment systems and set the conditions for student-centered learning to last.

  • Designed and facilitated a cohort-based leadership experience that aims to develop, strengthen, and support a group of educational leaders to work at the intersection of equity and design thinking. DLLF seeks to address issues of inequity in our school systems by bringing together leaders to define and unpack these challenges.

  • Designed & hosted a conference experience that asks: How will the Assessment for Learning movement lead the way through the crises of the moment to a more just and student-centered future of public education?

And answers by blurring the line between event, and national community of practice. It is a constellation of events, experiences and storytelling.

  • Facilitated a professional development fellowship that helps school leaders redesign their school culture by using small, scrappy experiments called “hacks.” Hacks may start small, but they're built on research-based practices that lead to Deeper Learning, and can create the kind of big change that prepares students for life in the real world.

  • Facilitated a “design sprint” initiative funded by Genentech and the Genentech Foundation to help Northern California public school districts and their community partners navigate the constraints of the COVID-19 era and identify opportunities to advance student-centered learning, equity, and the well-being of students, teachers, and families.

  • Radically collaborated with Co-founders to design tools and experiences that are innovative, toward justice, and anchored in a culture of tending to the humans and the now.

  • Hosted a pathway, process, and community that works to activate individuals to find and live into their Stoke Channel, and supports organizations to define and design the conditions needed to develop and retain a team that is fueled and leveraged for their brilliance.

  • Led the team through re-design towards student agency and personalized learning model, revisioned and revalued by engaging all stakeholders, co- designed and scaled a multi-age instruction, built Teacher Residency pipeline with local universities, developed capacity around student led learning, re-enlivened arts integrated expeditionary learning structures.

  • Implemented the shift towards a data-driven targeted, guided-reading model for ELA instruction, supported, developed and evaluated teacher practice across a K-8 team. Facilitated inquiry and critical friends groups around instruction.

  • Collaborated on design and start-up of K-5 small, autonomous public school in the Fruitvale District of Oakland. Partnered with community members and colleagues to bring our design to fruition and implement best practices towards strong outcomes.
